Senior Photo Contest: Snow-Themed

Winners Announced 3/5/21
It is with great pleasure that we announce the winners of our latest photo contest. We received over one hundred submissions and it was a very difficult task to decide which photos were the top picks. We had our staff, local artists and professional photographers involved in the judging. There were three rounds of judging in the process: top 25, top 10 and then the final 4. We took lightening, colors and contrast, composition, subject matter (snow) – and basic popular appeal into account when assessing the photographs.

3rd Place: Stephen O’Neil

Not only did we find all of the submissions to be aesthetically beautiful, but our staff and residents at Candlewood Valley Health and Rehabilitation enjoyed viewing them and appreciated the joy they brought to our center.
Once COVID restrictions are lifted, and we’ve all had an opportunity to receive our vaccines, Candlewood Valley will be a hosting a “Seniors in the Arts Soiree” to honor all participants of our photo contests. We will keep you abreast of the details once we can secure a date.
